Despite the inclement weather I popped to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park yesterday evening as it was one of their rare late openings.
The current Jaume Plensa exhibition is great but I had noticed many of the pieces are lit. With the long summer nights its been difficult to see this but the combination of a late night opening and a stormy sky meant we could get a better feel for how some of the sculpture looks when lit up.
Unfortunately the weather was wet and rather than a nice clear blue twilight sky it ended up being a little cloudy/stormy. Still just before I left and as it began to rain, I managed to grab the above shot.
