The Magical Places Fine Art blog has posted another interview this week, this time with travel photographer and writer Steve Davey. Steve is the author of the best-selling book Unforgettable Places to See Before You Die. Steve makes his living by taking photos and writing about travel, which of course is a dream job I would love to have! (I’m currently travelling, taking photos now, but unfortunately its not for work).

The article focuses on a few of his more recent projects and he tells how the books came about. On his latest book he says:

I started Footprint Travel Photography in January, and finished it in September. During that time I did work on other projects, but also made a number of trips specifically to shoot material for the book. I guess I could also say that this book took me 20 years to produce, as there is at least one picture that is that old in the book…
