Some people love HDR and others hate it. Personally I think it works when used well, and that those that hate it are probably referring to the over-the-top effects HDR can sometimes produce.
I mention this as I’ve discovered a gorgeous set of HDR photos of Paris by resident photographer Serge Ramelli. Whilst a couple are slightly over done to my mind the rest are simply stunning as illustrated by the Arc de Triomphe shot here. Living in Paris Serge has the advantage over the rest of us by being able to wait for the perfect light as shown in his photos.
